Meg Pifer, BMT, MTA
Music Therapist
Meg is a classically-trained vocalist and has attended Wilfrid Laurier University, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Therapy with a Minor in Psychology. She works primarily with seniors living in long-term care and has experience treating diagnoses including Alzheimer’s, dementia, anxiety, depression and palliative care.
Meg works with a person-centered approach which involves using music to help clients express their inner experiences.
In her spare time Meg enjoys being an avid coffee-drinker, trying out new restaurants, and playing board games. Meg loves to laugh and joke, and humour is a large part of her life.
